BauderLIQUITEC PU is an innovative liquid
waterproofing system, based on alpha-hybrid, silane
terminated polyether technology.
Not only does it exceed most performance criteria of
other liquid systems including polyurethane and
PMMA, it also eliminates many
of the disadvantages associated with these products.

BauderLIQUITEC PU complies with the European
Technical Approval Guidelines for liquid applied
roof waterproofing kits (ETAG 005) for all listed
use categor

It is classified as a nonhazardous substance

Sitework
Preparation:
As a minimum, clean and prepare surfaces to
receive waterproofing by removing all loose and
flaking particles, grease and laitance with the use
of a stiff bristle push broom and or washing.
Make all necessary repairs to existing substrate.

Installation procedure
This is a wet-on-wet system.
1. Apply the first coat of BauderLIQUITEC PU liquid to the
substrate using a brush or roller.
2. Firmly embed the fabric into the liquid using a brush
and working from the centre outwards.
Ensure that no air is trapped beneath the fabric and
that th
ere are no creases in it.
3. Immediately apply a saturation coat of BauderLIQUITEC PU
liquid into the still wet fabric using a brush and ensuring that
a smooth finish is achieved and that the fabric is completely
covered.
4. Leave to cure

Surface & Product Preparation:
• Surfaces must be free from dust, loosely adhering particles,
chippings, oil, grease, algae, mildew or fungal growth.
• While BauderLIQUITEC PU can be applied to damp surfaces
the moisture content of the substrate must be less than 6%.
• Stir the product thoroughly with a mechanical mixer
(2 - 3 minutes).
• BauderLIQUITEC PU can be applied directly to most
substrates without the need for primers. However on certain
surfaces and substrates primers may be required:
please see the Primer Chart or contact our
Technical Department for advice.
• If adhesion is in doubt, perform an Adhesion Test.

Application Conditions:
• Application temperature should be in the range of
5°C to 45°C.
• Please be aware of the effect of dew – our
recommendation is that the substrate temperature
should be at least 3 K higher that the temperature
at which dew forms – i.e. the ‘Dew Point’.
• Do not apply BauderLIQUITEC PU Liquid
Waterproofing if rain is imminent or likely to fall
during application.

Application
Method:
• This is a wet-on-wet system.
• Apply a base coat of BauderLIQUITEC PU (approx. 2 kg/m²) to the
substrate using a brush or roller.
• Firmly embed the fabric into the liquid using a brush, working from the
centre outwards.
• Ensure that no air is trapped beneath the fabric and that there are no
creases in it.
• Apply a saturation coat of BauderLIQUITEC PU (approx. 1.1 kg/m²)
into the still wet fabric using a brush or rol
ler ensuring that a smooth
finish is achieved and that the fabric is completely covered.
• Leave to cure.

Drying & Curing
• This system is water repellent on application. However, if rain does fall
before the waterproofing liquid ‘skins over’ the surface may incur
small indents, which will require a light overcoat once completely dry
to ensure a smooth finish.
• Check that there are no pinholes visible in the finished surface.
Should any appear apply a light coat of the product to these areas.
• Drying time is approximately 3 - 4 hours at 20°C / 60% relative
humidity.
• Full cure will occur in 7 days.
