The INDUVENT air curtain systems from Teddington, to be
mounted either vertically or horizontally, are designed for
universal usage in all industry sectors. The patented
EVOLVENT® nozzle technology in the blow-out section ensures
a high throwing range with minimal energy demand.
With many different types, the adaptable INDUVENT devices
conform to all performance and space requirements.
Teddington air curtain technology in
the refuse industry
Especially for usage in the refuse industry, the Teddington
INDUVENT air curtain systems have maintained their
popularity.
Since 01.06.2005, depositing
of untreated, biodegradable and
organic-containing waste has been forbidden in Germany due
to severe pollution and endangering of the environment. The
processing of this waste today takes place in mechanical
incineration plants or mechanical biological plants, which are
very rigorously subject to regulations regarding the authorised
emission limits (17th and 30th Federal Emission Control
Regulation, BImSchV). In complying with the authorised toxic
emissions, the wide delivery doors have a special meaning.
The Federal Emission Control Regulation (BImSchV) also
authorises these doors, next to special lock systems, to be able
to make use of specific air curtain systems.
Teddington air curtain systems with EVOLVENT® pressurechamber-nozzle-system offer here a very efficient and
compact solution, which has already been repeatedly and
successfully used in practice.

INDUVENT
Teddington INDUVENT is an energy
saving air curtain with the patented
EVOLVENT®, pressure-chambernozzle-system, with a big angle of
90° to adjust the air blow-out
direction, with almost no
performance loss (Patent Number:
4415079).

Application
The Teddington INDUVENT energy
efficient air curtain is best suited for
usage in the industrial sector, where
no heating is either necessary or no
medium of heat is available.
The systems are suitable for both a
horizontal and vertical installation.
Performance

According to the situation, the
installation can be either horizontal
or vertical.
A preferably space saving and effectoptimized positioning occurs through
the type variations S, U and Z.

The air curtain fully encircles the outline
of the driving / stationary vehicle. The
screening effect is therefore not
disrupted (picture in the middle to the
right).
Extremely high doors can be shielded
through dual systems. For this purpose,
there is the example in the picture of a
horizontally installed INDUVENT U dual
system (picture underneath to the
right).
